Hand Painted Canisters

Good Morning!
I've been busy.
Here are some pretty canisters that are new to the shop.

Rose and yellow....my favorite colors!

Blue and turquoise are pretty popular colors here on the Island.

I still like to get a bit of cheery yellow in there.

More coming your way this week!
Thanks for looking....:)

Pretty Hand Painted Blue And White table

I finished painting this blue and white table just the other day.

I painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and did the designs in acrylic paint.
Then I put two coats of Annie Sloan clear wax on it. I have to say that I like paste wax better....the kind that I used on my floor. But this worked fine....just takes a long time to dry.

It's finished! You can see my pink sneakers in this last photo....Spring is here and time to ride the bike to work! YAY!
Thanks for looking!

Painted Papier Mache Boxes

A selection of papier mache boxes.
I love these and I wish I could get them reproduced as they take so long to paint.
I will work on that.
Here is a lovely link and thanks for looking!

Jeanne van Etten Shop

Hello there! Here is the new counter that Jeffrey made. I have expanded the shop into the kitchen on the painted floor.

I love the new counter and the extra space in the main shop.

I painted it off white . Maybe I'll do a little decorative work on the panels.

Katy's famous Nantucket hydrangea wreaths hang above an antique lace table cloth.

There is a simple white shelf for more display.
This is a tiny nook that I cleaned out and painted for more product as it comes along.

The view into the main space from the new counter.

Ready to rock!
Why not come on down and take a look?

New Shop Pictures

I have re arranged the shop on 4 Fair Street.

This is the old counter where I used to have my studio area to paint in.

Well now I have a new counter that Jeffrey made me.
(I will show some pictures of that tomorrow.)
I use the old counter for display and the shop is a bit bigger.

Every year ,it gets better!

Here is a new clock that I painted.

Stop by the shop on 4 Fair Street when you are on Island!
Thanks for looking!
