Look where Susan put my little hand lettered card that she bought last week! It's a quote from the wonderful Oscar Wilde....I am busy this week...that sign we hung made a difference! I will be loading up the Etsy shop ....stop by 4 Fair Street if you are in the area. I'm open Monday - Saturday 10 to 5 and this week on Sunday 10 - 2....Happy happy :):)

Painted Rocks

I painted a bunch of rocks this week.
Moxt of them sold at the Farmer's Market....Yay!A bouquet of hydrangeas on this one.

Here are some rocks that I personalized for a customer.
A funny horse for Emily....
A heart for Victoria.....
Bo gets a whale....
A mermaid for Lily......

More Boxes

I'm on a box painting kick.
This is a rectangle box painted with flowers surrounding a mermaid.

A rosa rugosa bloom on the inside.
I have a bunch of these oval balsam boxes.

So, I painted them all!

Painting on Black

I like to paint on a black background. Here is a octagonal wooden plate painted with gouache. The colors are more intense than my pastel on white.




I got a bunch of interesting boxes from a factory that makes them for tools. Here is one that I painted.


I think I was living in Cape Breton at the time. I liked it up there because there was nothing to do but PAINT!
