I'm on a box painting kick.
This is a rectangle box painted with flowers surrounding a mermaid.

A rosa rugosa bloom on the inside.
I have a bunch of these oval balsam boxes.

So, I painted them all!

These are just a few.

This week I have a surprise to show the end of the week.
So stay tuned! and thanks for looking! :)

Painting on Black

I like to paint on a black background. Here is a octagonal wooden plate painted with gouache. The colors are more intense than my pastel on white.

I got a bunch of interesting boxes from a factory that makes them for tools. Here is one that I painted.

I think I was living in Cape Breton at the time. I liked it up there because there was nothing to do but PAINT!

Another unusually shaped box from the tool company.

Fun wallpaper!

Thanks for looking....more etsy shop goodies tomorrow! :)
