Copperplate Calligraphy

I took a copperplate calligraphy course this weekend at The Abbey Studio in Hingham with Maryanne Grebenstein. I was lucky enough to have a private lesson....but let me tell you....it's all about PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!

I had done an Illustration last year for Illustration Friday....of course, you can tell it was before my lesson!

I was searching for copperplate calligraphy on the internet and found this lovely site....I Dream Of Letters...Danae's style is beautiful and affordable....her etsy site is here

    Jeanne--I like your map better! Coppperplate isn't easy, is it? I'm still struggling, 10 years later...
